Harley Davidson has been updating their BS6 range of motorcycles for a while now. Harley Davidson has now revealed the price of the BS6 Low Rider, the BS6 Low Rider S and the Custom 1200 in India. The BS6 Harley Davidson Low Rider is now available for a price of Rs 13.75 lakh, while the BS6 Low Rider S has been priced at Rs 14.69 lakh. The BS6 Custom 1200 meanwhile has been launched for a price of Rs 10.77 lakh, all prices ex-showroom.
The 2020 Low Rider’s styling harks back to the 1970s cruiser design with tank-mounted dual instrument gauges, headlight visor, old-school inspired body graphics and chrome exhausts. The Low Rider belongs to Harley’s Softail range of motorcycles and it is powered by a 1,745 cc, v-twin Milwaukee 107 engine which puts out 144 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm. The motorcycle is suspended by cartridge forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is provided by four-piston fixed caliper on the front disc and a two-piston floating caliper on the rear single disc.
As for the BS6 Low Rider S, it is essentially a blacked out version of the Low Rider and is what Harley likes to call a ‘performance cruiser’. It comes with a reduced frame rake, inverted front suspension, slightly raised handlebar, and cast aluminium wheels. The BS6 Low Rider S is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114, 1,745 cc, V-twin engine that belts out 161 Nm at 3,000 rpm, and 87 bhp at 5,020 rpm. The Low Rider S has a kerb weight of 287 kg.
