Ford has launched the BS6 compliant Figo, Freestyle and Aspire. Despite getting BS6 engines, their prices have reduced by up to Rs 38,000.
New spy shots of BS6 Ford Figo had just come in and now, Ford has launched the updated hatch along with its revised price list. Along with it, Ford has also bought in the BS6 Freestyle and Aspire. All three have started reaching dealerships and bookings have also begun for them.
As we reported earlier, BS6 Ford Figo and Aspire have missed out on a lot of features and hence, they have received a major price reduction. That’s right. Instead of seeing a price hike because of BS6 engines, they have been reduced. Here is the revised price list:

As seen, all the variants of Freestyle and most of that of Aspire have received a considerable price reduction. As for the BS6 Ford Figo, the price of the base variant has only reduced, otherwise, the Titanium and Blu variants are costlier.
The engines on the BS6 versions have been retained. They continue with the existing 1.2 Litre three-cylinder Dragon petrol engine and the 1.5 Litre four-cylinder diesel engine. Although, now, Figo and Aspire only come with a 5-speed manual. There are no reports of them getting an automatic gearbox soon.
Along with BS6 engines, Figo and Aspire have gotten some features removed. As for the Figo, it loses out on the SYNC3, fog lamps, automatic climate control and rear wiper. Aspire also loses out on the same things but retains the FLY touchscreen unit.

There’s just been one addition, that is 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. By reducing the features, definitely, it comes out as a more affordable option to rivals like Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
