As you could see, the emission regulations seem to be the main reason for this recall. All vehicles are required to comply with the latest emission norms of the country. Ford is, therefore, trying to keep its vehicles up-to-date with the latest pollution norms by installing additional hardware or recalibrating the existing hardware. There are exhaust gas O2 sensors needed to be installed in the vehicles to measure the content of gases in the exhaust manifold.

All these measures by Ford are a great example of how well it is trying to take care of the customers who bought its vehicles. Ford is known for being a customer-first company. It always takes care of its customers. In India, there are over 1 million Ford customers and Ford doesn’t want to disappoint anyone. Also, in the future, there might be a possibility of it coming to our shores with other projects. It is still continuing to sell cars as CBUs in India and hence, maintaining strong ties with the customers is prudent.
