Hero Motocorp is offering heavy discounts on the BS4 HF Deluxe that makes it nearly 50% cheaper than the new BS6 model.
Dealerships will start opening soon and manufacturers are offering heavy discounts to clear their BS4 stock. In a couple of states, the dealerships have already opened up and deliveries have also commenced. Hero Motocorp is offering hefty discounts on its BS4 motorcycles, especially the HF Deluxe.
The ex-showroom price of BS4 Hero HF Deluxe is now Rs 29,900. It is the cheapest motorcycle that you can now buy under just Rs 30,000. Its original price is Rs 40,000, however Hero is offering a discount of Rs 10,000. The BS6 model is priced from Rs 56,675 to Rs 58,600, making the BS4 model almost 50% cheaper.

The price difference between the BS4 and BS6 versions is nearly Rs 30,000. You can now book the BS4 Hero HF Deluxe for a refundable token amount of Rs 200. This offer is only valid till stocks last. The government has allowed sale of BS4 vehicles from 3th May to 13th May only, except in the state of Delhi.
The primary difference between the BS4 and BS6 HF Deluxe is the engine. BS4 version uses a 97.2cc carburetted engine that produces 8.36 BHP of peak power. Its claimed mileage is around 70 kmpl, which in real world conditions could come down to 60 kmpl. BS6 Deluxe gets a new 100cc engine with Fuel Injection as standard. The power figures have subsequently dropped by very small numbers but it now offers 9% more mileage.
Rest of the details are the same between both of them. Both come with telescopic forks at the front and a 2-step pre-load adjustable twin shock absorbers at the back. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both the ends with IBS (Integrated Braking System) as standard fitment across both the variants.

In the case of BS4 Hero Splendor, even it has received a price reduction of Rs 10,000. You can now buy it from a starting price of Rs 41,000. However, the BS6 Splendor gets many new upgrades that you will have to sacrifice if you get the BS4 version. The updated Splendor is priced from Rs 60,000 (all prices ex-showroom).
