TVS has launched the BS-6 compliant Jupiter Classic 110, which receives a price hike of Rs 8,000. It is the second BS-6 scooter in India as of now.
Advancing with its BS-6 launches, TVS has now launched the BS-6 Jupiter Classic as well. Recently, it upgraded the Apache RTR 200 4V and 160 4V as well. The manufacturer is amongst the earlier ones to launch BS-6 models.
The BS-6 TVS Jupiter Classic is priced at Rs 67,911 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is costlier by Rs 8,000 now. It now gets the ET-FI or the Ecothrust Fuel Injection system, which offers 15% more fuel efficiency than the BS-4 version.
The Jupiter Classic continues with the 109.7cc fan-cooled engine. The engine specifications of the BS-6 version have not been revealed yet, but we expect a mild drop in the power figures. As of now, the motor produces 7.9 BHP and 8.4 Nm of peak torque.

For suspension, it continues with telescopic forks at the front and swingarm suspension at the back. The Classic variant comes with a front disc brake and rear drum brake, with Combi-Braking System (CBS) as standard fitment.
Features onboard the Classic variant include dual-tone seat, tinted windshield, backrest, chrome styling bits and a front disc brake. The Classic comes in three colour options – Sunlit Ivory, Autumn Brown and a new Indiblue shade.
Recently, TVS relaunched the Jupiter Grande Edition with the SmartConnect Bluetooth speedometer. After connecting the speedometer with the mobile phone via an app, you can get call notifications, message notifications and service alerts on the speedometer itself. Further, you can access the information related to the scooter on your phone.

The Jupiter is available in total five variants, out of which the other four are yet to receive the BS-6 engines. The price range of Jupiter starts off at Rs 53,741 up to Rs 62,606 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
