TVS has kickstarted its BS-6 launches with none other than the Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V. Both the motorcycles now come with fuel-injection as standard fitment and other performance enhancement upgrades as well.
The BS-6 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V rear drum brake variant goes for Rs 99,950 and the Disc brake variant goes for Rs 1.03 Lakhs. The BS-6 RTR 200 4V goes for Rs 1.24 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
The Drum brake variant costs Rs 8,000 more, whereas the disc brake variant is costlier by Rs 3,000. As for the RTR 200 4V, it gets costlier by Rs 10,000. The reason for a major price hike of the drum brake variant is because it only came in the Carburettor variant.
