Vespa and Aprilia are yet to receive their BS-6 versions, which are likely due in some months. Both the scooters will get fuel injection technology.
Speeding up on the BS-6 launches, we have some news about Vespa and Aprilia as well. Piaggio is planning to launch their BS-6 versions in a couple of months. The deliveries of BS-6 Aprilia and Vespa will reportedly commence from April 2020 itself.
Both the scooters will get a significant increase over their BS-4 prices. Addition of fuel injection system is likely to take the prices up by Rs 18,000 to Rs 19,000 on all the variants. This is because of BS-6 engines, revisions to the exhaust and some cosmetic tweaks.
All the scooters will continue with the same engines as their BS-4 versions. However, the Aprilia SR150 will later be known as the SR 160. It will just get a name change and fuel injection along with the same 150cc motor producing 12 BHP and 11.5 Nm of torque.

As for the Vespa SXL150, it has been spied uncamouflaged with some minor tweaks. It gets a refreshed semi-digital instrument console. The alloy wheels get a slightly different shade whereas the Matte Black paint is darker on the spied mule.
As for the 125cc scooters, they will continue with the same 124.6cc air-cooled three-valve engine, that delivers 9.5 BHP at 7250 RPM and 9.9 Nm of peak torque at 6250 RPM. After equipping fuel injection on both the engines, the power figures will remain the same but the fuel efficiency will drop by a bit.
Reports further suggest that dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the Vespa and Aprilia BS-6 scooters. We expect them to be launched by the end of January 2020, ahead of the emission norms from April 2020.
