British Expert Reviews Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
This post comes from MOTOBOB on YouTube. He takes the motorbike on a spin on the less-than-optimal European roads. He likes the easy-to-read instrument cluster with a round speedometer and a tiny display in the centre. The tripper navigation enables convenience and the mechanical engine clunk restores the retro charm. He also mentions the similarities with the Super Meteor 650. Apart from that, he likes that the owners will be able to change the seating arrangement by the option of removing the rear seat. He confirms that the seating posture is comfortable but sporty with mid-pegs, a high seating position and a slightly high handlebar. The smaller chassis (vs Super Meteor 650) makes it much more willing to change direction.

Riding Impressions
While riding the motorcycle on the road, he finds the Showa suspension (front and rear) reasonably comfortable. Also, the rider triangle is much more engaging and the overall handling characteristics are appealing too. He finds the black finish on the body panel quite attractive. In fact, on this retro motorcycle, it is better than the gloss black elements of other motorcycles. It might be less powerful than some of its rivals from Japan, but the performance is in line with its demeanour. All in all, he feels the Shotgun 650 is really enjoyable.
