As per a report by ACI, the BMW is all set to launch the high performance BMW M5 F10 in India during the Auto Expo 2012. This news is a pleasant surprise for the BMW Enthusiast and sporty drivers in India. But you will need to part away with close to Rs. 1 Crore to own one, as the price is expected to be Rs. 99 Lakhs in India. The BMW M5 is a more spacious and powerful sibling of M3. The BMW M5 comes with breathtaking 550 horses (55 BHP) with jaw dropping 700 Nm of torque to take you off your feet from 0 to 100 in just 5 seconds!

The M5 is powered by a mighty 4.4 Litre V8 engine which is mated to a 7 speed automatic dual clutch transmission system which is tune for high performance. There are paddle shifts behind the steering wheel for manually changing the gear ration. Compared to the old generation M5, the new M5 F10 is 31% more fuel efficient at 10.1 KMPL fuel efficiency.

The top speed of the M5 is 250 KMPH and has been electronically limited. The suspensions of the M5 is stiff and tuned for precise handling and sharp control. Everything on the inside and outside is very sporty with M5 badging at plenty of places including the huge brake calipers, gear knob, inside door handles, rear boot door etc.

The M5 looks pretty huge and powerful with its large dimensions, wheelbase and strong character lines. It rides on large 19 inch alloy wheels with huge disk brakes for strong road grip and precise braking performance. The front fascia is very masculine with aggressive stance. The side profile is very sporty and aerodynamic and looks signature BMW styling.

On the interiors its plush with leather upholstery, latest gadgetry and equipment, sporty steering wheel with steering mounted multi-function controls. Large LCD display for infotainment, comfort features like rear AC vents etc..

There are small touches of chrome here and there. The dual exhaust with chrome finishing looks very appealing and sporty. All in all, its is a delight to take an M5 for spin.
