When Indian Auto Industry is on a slowdown on a whole, the luxury car market is the least affected. The sales and demand of luxury cars has increased quite well in past few quarters. BMW has emerged out as a leading luxury car brand in India giving a tough time to Mercedes Benz in India. BMW India today achieved a significant milestone by rolling out 20000th car from its Chennai plant in India. It’s a proud moment for BMW India which has recently put its step forwards to set up its own authorized used BMW Cars business called the – BMW Premium Selections In India. BMW Chennai plant became operational in March 2011 and was set up with an investment of Rs. 1.1 Billion.

BMW has been achieving its sales targets in India quite well and looks like they are moving in right direction. BMW India has recently launched its 6 Series Coupe In India and 3 Series Convertible in India. With a wide portfolio of high performance and efficiency cars in India BMW caters to a wide array of customers in the luxury car segment.
