This time around, BMW has launched one of its prominent products, the 5 Series. To compete against the largest luxury carmaker in the country, Mercedes-Benz, BMW has planned a whole bunch of launches in 2021 and all the BMW fans are in for a treat in times to come. BMW 5 Series – Exterior Highlights
The outside of the 5 Series looks typically BMW but with all the modern design cues. The front profile of the 5 Series comes with the typical chrome slated signature Kidney Grille, Sleek Full-LED Adaptive Headlights with the new BMW Laserlight Technology which distributes the light upto 650 metres perfectly, Sporty Angular Front Bumper with Fog Lamp Housing and Sculpted Bonnet Lines. The sides host the large wheel arches, 18-inch Stylish Alloy Wheels and Dynamic Overall Side Profile. The rear features the modern L-shaped sleek LED tail lamps, Sporty Bumper, Twin Exhausts with Chrome Tips and a Shark Fin Antenna. This updated 5 Series is a bit longer than the outgoing model.

The BMW 5 Series comes with a fully-loaded cabin with all the modern and unique features. BMW 5 Series – Powertrains and Prices
The new 5 Series comes with three powertrain options: 530i M Sport 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine making 252 hp and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively, 520d Luxury Line 2.0-litre diesel engine making 190 hp and 400 Nm of peak power and torque respectively and a more powerful 530d M Sport 3.0-litre 6-Cylinder diesel engine making 265 hp and 620 Nm of peak power and torque respectively, enabling a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 5.7 seconds. The transmission duties are carried by a sole 8-speed Automatic Gearbox as standard across all variants. There are various driving modes on offer as well including Comfort, Sport, Eco Pro and Adaptive. The price of the 530i M Sport is Rs 62.90 lakh, 520d Luxury Line is Rs 63.90 lakh and 530d M Sport is Rs 71.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6 are the primary rivals of the BMW 5 Series in India.
