The erstwhile youngest billionaire of India, Nikhil Kamath, was recently spotted by eagle-eyed netizens on his Suzuki Intruder VZR 1800 ZL2. Nikhil Kamath, for the unversed, is the co-founder of the stock brokerage platform, Zerodha. He founded the company along with his brother, Nithin Kamath back in 2010. Nikhil appeared on the Forbes billionaires list in 2023 at the age of 37. In fact, his net worth is estimated to be a whopping $3.1 billion according to Forbes 2024. The details of this post emerge from an X user, Shantanu Goel. The video captures Nikhil on his sports bike while wearing shorts. On the pillion seat, his rumoured girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty is seen without a helmet. As is often the case with curious netizens, they quickly dig up info on what prominent personalities drive. It was found out that the insurance of the superbike expired last year. Hence, Nikhil was riding the superbike on the public streets of Bangalore with expired insurance. In the video, the duo is seen getting stuck in the infamous Bangalore traffic.
The Suzuki Intruder VZR 1800 ZL2 is a superbike which not a lot of celebrities own. It comes with a large 1,783-cc 4-stroke 2-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 54° V-twin engine which generates a mammoth 127 hp @6,200 RPM and 160 Nm @3,200 RPM of peak power and torque. Complimenting this engine is a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. This engine has a compression ratio of 10.5:1 with a bore and stroke of 112 mm and 90.5 mm, respectively. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in just 3.7 seconds. It is currently not on sale in the country. However, it had a price tag of Rs 16.45 lakh, ex-showroom taking the on-road price to well over Rs 18 lakh.
