Bengaluru Doctor Runs 3 km To Perform Surgery
As per a report, Dr Govind Nandakumar is a gastroenterology surgeon in Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru who got stuck in a long traffic jam. However, this is not uncommon for the residents of Bengaluru. But in this particular scenario, the doctor was supposed to perform surgery on a patient. In order to not keep the patient waiting for too long, he decided to ditch his car on the road and started to run toward the hospital which was around 3 km away from where he was stuck. Thankfully, he was able to make it on time and the surgery was successful.

He mentioned that he didn’t simply park his car on the road but left it with the driver. Also, he mentions that he goes to the gym regularly. This is why running for around 3 km was not a big challenge for him. Nevertheless, this incident exhibits his dedication to the noble profession. Often in the cases of surgeries, it could be a life-threatening situation. Hence, doctors who understand this and go the extra mile are always appreciated.
