Benelli TRK 502 and 502X are set to launch in India on 18th February. These will be the first models to be launched from Benelli’s new partnership.
Benelli has tied up with Adishwar Auto Ride to launch new motorcycles in India. Their first products will include Benelli TRK 502 and 502X, middle-weight ADV motorcycles.
The brand plans to launch total 11 motorcycles in India. Soon after the partnership, the brand relaunched Benelli TNT300, 302R and TNT600i in India.
In November 2018, it was last spotted testing on the Indian roads. While Benelli TRK 502 is an adventure tourer, 502X is a more off-road focused variant.

The pricing details are not out yet, but we believe that Benelli TRK 502 will go against the likes of Suzuki V-Strom 650 and Kawasaki Versys 650. However, Suzuki’s ADV is the more popular one here.
We expect the prices of TRK 502 to be around Rs 5 Lakhs to maintain a stiff competition. If it maintains this price range, it actually falls in between the big ADV difference.
Suzuki V-Strom 650 is priced at Rs 7.46 Lakhs, which is on the much premium side. With the expected price of benelli TRK 502, it will majorly undercut V-Strom.

Also, it will then go against the likes of KTM 390 Adventure. The brand’s very first ADV for the Indian market, which will be launched this year for sure. The estimated pricing of the bike is around Rs 3-3.5 Lakhs.
Adventure 390 will use Duke 390’s 373cc engine that puts out 42 BHP and 37 Nm of peak torque. Reports say that this engine will be tuned for better torque distribution, resulting in a possible decline in power figures.
TRK 502 will use a parallel twin-cylinder 500cc engine that delivers 48 BHP and 45 Nm of peak torque. The figures are definitely higher than 390 Adventure.
However, Suzuki V-Strom 650 uses a bigger V-Twin 650cc engine that puts out 70 BHP and 68 Nm of peak torque. For an expected premium of over Rs 1.5-2 Lakhs, the power figures are higher.
