Benelli has now launched the Leoncino 250 in India, for a price of Rs 2.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The bookings have commenced for a token of Rs 6,000.
Just days ago, speculations regarding the launch of Benelli Leoncino 250 came into place and here is the bike. The smallest offering from Benelli, is here, based on the recently launched bigger Leoncino 500.
The Benelli Leoncino 250 demands a price of Rs 2.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The online, as well as offline bookings for the same, have begun across dealerships for Rs 6,000. Benelli also offers a 3-year Unlimited Kilometre Warranty.
The Leoncino 250 is a neo-retro motorcycle with a slight resemblance to a Scrambler. It is offered in four colour options – White, Grey, Red and Brown. Basically, it is very closely styled like the Leoncino 500.

Continuing on its styling bits, the Leoncino 250 gets a different headlamp when compared to the elder brother. Of course, you get the small Lion badging on the front fender, as the name “Leoncino” means that.
The motorcycle runs on a 249cc liquid-cooled EFI 4-valve engine, that produces 25.8 BHP at 9250 RPM and 21 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is borrowed from the earlier sold TNT25.
For suspension, it gets 41mm upside-down forks at the front and pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the back. Braking is handled by a 280mm floating disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the back with dual-channel ABS.

Features onboard include LED headlamps, LED tail lights, digital instrument console, a single-piece seat, raised single-piece handlebar, electronic fuel injection and dual-channel ABS. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, weighs 162 kgs and gets a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 Litres.
As said, the bookings are now open and the deliveries are expected to commence from next month. By the next year, Benelli plans to spread out to all major cities with their dealerships and service centers.
