The bookings for the motorcycle has started at Rs 4,000. It can be done by visiting your nearest dealership or through the company’s official website.
It was just yesterday that the Benelli Imperiale 400 was launched in the Indian markets and now we can confirm the exact number of bookings the bike has received till now.
Benelli Imperiale 400 bookings stand at 350 units mark in just 23 days when the official bookings started. This motorcycle rivals directly with the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa and is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Imperiale 400 is the most affordable bike from the Benelli in Indian markets right now and it uses a 374cc engine. This is a BS4 compliant, SOHC air-cooled engine which gets electronic fuel injection.

It produces a total of 21 bhp at 5500 rpm and 29 Nm of peak torque at 4500 rpm. The power is 2 bhp higher than the Classic 350 but the peak torque gets lowered by 3 Nm in the Imperiale 400.
The Benelli Imperiale 400 measures 2,170 mm in length, 820 mm in width and stands at a height of 1,120 mm. The wheelbase of the bike is 1,440 mm while the ground clearance comes at 165 mm maintaining a weight of 205 kgs.
The suspension on the bike is handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork up at the front and the rear gets pre-loaded shock absorbers. Braking on the bike is taken care by a 300 mm disc on the front and 240 mm at the rear. It comes with a dual-channel Anti-lock braking system. The bike rides on spoke wheels with 19-inch at the front and 18-inchers at the rear tyre.

Some of the key features on the bike include a digital speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and tachometer. The bike also offers a total of three colour options which are offered in the International markets too. That are, Red, Silver and Black.
One of the interesting thing about the bike is maintenance. It comes with a three year unlimited kilometres warranty as standard across all trims. And for the first two years, the manufacturer also offers complimentary maintenance services.
