Benelli Imperiale 400 Receives Over 4000 Bookings; Highest For Benelli

Till date, Benelli has received more than 4000 bookings for the Imperiale 400. The retro-styled cruiser is priced at Rs 1.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Benelli Imperiale 400 is the manufacturerโ€™s best selling motorcycle till now. The Royal Enfield rival was launched in November itself and is priced at Rs 1.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is costlier than its rivals by just Rs 5,000.

Till now, Benelli has managed to record more than 4,000 bookings for the Imperiale 400. Our dealerships sources confirm that the deliveries are on track and the waiting period is very less. The inquiries for Imperiale is increasing by the day.

The retro-styled cruiser is all modern with fuel injection, adjustable rear suspension, dual-channel ABS and much. It is available in three colour options โ€“ Silver, Red and Black. The latter two demand Rs 10,000 more than its regular price.

Powering the Imperiale 400 is a 374cc air-cooled SOHC engine, that produces 21 BHP at 5500 RPM and 29 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox as standard. With a fuel tank capacity of 12 Litres, the Imperiale is expected to deliver a range of 350-400 kms. 

The suspension setup is handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and pre-load adjustable monoshocks at the back. For braking, it gets front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Additionally, Benelli is also offering first-in-class 3 years/unlimited-kilometre warranty as standard. Also, the first two years of servicing is completely free. After that, you can opt for an annual maintenance contract. That is another advantage that none of its rivals offer.

In other news related to Benelli, the manufacturer is planning to launch more motorcycles based on the platform of Imperiale 400. Further details are unknown but we expect a cafe-racer or a neo-retro motorcycle taking shape.
