Benelli BN302 India Launch is expected to happen in coming months. Could be priced at INR 3.5 lakhs
DSK Benelli is looking all set to give some sleepless nights to the boffins at Kawasaki India and other rival bike manufacturers and spearheading DSK Benelli’s charge in the fast developing Indian bike market could be the bike you see on this page – the Benelli BN302 streetfighter. The BN302 looks pretty promising and our guess is that the upcoming model could very well become the next big thing in the world of non-faired middleweights in our country’s fast developing import bike market. Here, in this post, we have come up with all the details on the Benelli BN302 India launch, price, specifications, et al. Check them all out!
Engine
The Benelli BN302 is powered by a 300cc twin pot four-stroke engine that belts out a maximum power of 36,5 bhp at 11,500 rpm. In comparison, the KTM RC 390, which is powered by a 373cc single cylinder engine, has a higher power output of 42.9 bhp at 9,000rpm. The Kawasaki Z250 on the other hand, enjoys a maximum power of 31 bhp that its parallel twin motor produces at 11,000 RPM.
Suspension
The Benelli BN302 enjoys upside-down telescopic forks up front and a mono-suspension at the rear. The bike’s alloy swing arm is a tube section unit.
Brakes
The Benelli BN 302 features a twin 260 mm disc-brake setup at the front and a 220 mm single disc brake at the rear. We feel that such a kit should be sufficiently adequate to haul this bike down from front high speeds.
Fuel Tank
The BN302 has a fuel tank capacity of 16 literes, enough to keep the proverbial tourers happy!
Price
Products from DSK have never scored really well on the pricing front; Hyosung bikes in India are examples enough of this. Hence, it won’t be nothing short of being too optimistic to expect a really attractive price for the BN302. Our guess is that the Benelli BN302 price in India would be around INR 3.5 Lakhs.
