Although the two bikes share the same heart, when it comes to styling, they couldn’t look more different. The KTM 390 Duke scores very high in terms of pure eyeball grabbing ability. It flashy colour scheme, sharp lines and minimal bodywork make it instantly recognisable as a KTM product. The Bajaj Pulsar VS400 (CS400) sports a less aggressive, cruiser look reminiscent of the Ducati Diavel. Unlike the Duke, the Pulsar will not get any flashy body graphics or a dual tone colour scheme. It will feature certain interesting bits such as a full-LED headlight, LED tail light and an all-digital speedo console.
The KTM Duke 390 is likely to get a replacement next year and if the spy images are anything to go by, it will look even more aggressive. Both bikes feature black alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, pilot lamp, digital speedo and more. KTM offers the Duke 390 in only two colours – black and white. Expect Bajaj to offer 4 to 5 colour options for the CS400.
