- Digital automobile designers have a unique talent for creating innovative avatars of popular bikes.
- Bajaj Pulsar is the common marque that these artists try their hands on.
- However, this looks almost too good to ever make it to production.
This digital concept of the Bajaj Pulsar RS400 is extremely enticing. Pulsar is a household name in our country. Bajaj has ensured that it offers some sort of Pulsar in almost all the major segments of our market. Hence, the Pulsar range is a major product in all segments, under 250cc. That is precisely the reason why Abin Designs and Bikerzz of India have chosen it to illustrate a distinct concept. Let us check out the highlights of this model.

Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Digital Concept
The overall silhouette reminds one of the racing bikes in general. This is due to the body graphics which don’t cover the entire fuel tank but act as sleek highlights all around the body including around the headlamps, on the fairing, on the side body panels and at the rear. That apart, the headlight setup lends an aggressive appearance with duel projector lamps, and there is a compact transparent wind visor at the front flanked by rugged handlebars. The fairing is quite chunky and lends that sportsbike look.

Then there is the underbelly protector, black elements on the sides, a split-seat setup, muscular fuel tank, sculpted tank shrouds, short tail-end, and massive alloy wheel at the rear with a broad tyre just like we see on the racing bikes. In comparison, the front tyre looks too thin but that is also not uncommon. Overall, this concept is quite detailed and one could see such design patterns in the racing bikes, at least aesthetically.

Specs
The nearest donor model for this concept could be the Dominar 400. It comes with a 373-cc fuel-injected engine that would produce 43 PS and 35 Nm of peak power and torque. There is a 6-speed manual transmission complementing this engine. We could expect such a model to have a dual-channel ABS as standard and the price tag might well be upwards of Rs 1.70 lakh, ex-showroom. KTM RC 390, Ninja 300, Benelli TNT300, Yamaha R3 and TVS Apache RR310 are some of the key players in the segment. What are your thoughts on this unique version?
