Newly launched Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 can be booked for INR 5000
Seems like Bajaj Auto Ltd. has a new winner in its hands. The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, which was launched in late March, managed to garner more than thirty-five hundred bookings since its launch late last month. Touted as the ‘Fasted Pulsar ever’, the new model is the priciest model in BAL’s line-up of motorcycles and rivals the likes of Yamaha YZF-R15 and the KTM RC 200. The new Bajaj Pulsar SS 200, nay, the RS 200 can be booked for INR 5,000 and is available in two variants – ABS and Non-ABS. It is being reported that Bajaj dealerships across the country have been trying hard to avoid the waiting period for the Pulsar flagship from building up. Currently, the waiting period for the new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is between one and a half to two weeks in Bangalore. Price
The new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 has gone on sale for INR 1.18 lacs (Non-ABS model) and INR 1.30 lacs (ABS model). As said earlier, the bike can be booked for INR 5,000.

Design
In essence, the new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is a slightly sportier 200 NS that is dressed in the SS400’s clothes. At the front, the RS 200 gets LED day-time running lamps. We do accept that it is a love it or hate it design which may look modern to some, but a bit too fussy to others. The bike misses out on the underbelly exhaust of the 200NS, but gets LED taillamps. While the RS 200 is based on the 200 NS, the new panels that the bike looks a lot unlike its naked sibling.

Engine Specs
Powering the new RS 200 is a 199.5cc fuel-injected single-cylinder motor that pumps out a maximum power of 24.5 PS@ 9,750 rpm and a peak torque of 18.6 Nm @8,000 rpm. The motor comes mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.
