Digital automobile artists have a tendency to develop unique iterations of popular bikes and this is a great example of it.
This is the digital version of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 that has been visualized in this rendition. Pulsar is a household name that has been around for a long time. Bajaj has deliberately made an effort to feature some models of the Pulsar in all major two-wheeler segments of the country. That is what makes Bajaj one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world. As a matter of fact, it exports a lot of its models to various parts of the globe making it a prominent player in the space. In this digital illustration, we get to witness a unique version of a bike based on the NS200.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Visualized
The rendition has been developed by abin_designs_511 on Instagram. It depicts an attractive avatar of the popular NS200. This model is slightly bigger and beefier than the traditional NS200 that we have witnessed for a long time. Comparing both these bikes, the NS400 is significantly more meaty and bulky that the NS200. Because it boasts a larger engine, there is an underbelly exhaust pipe that is partially visible from the sides. Apart from that, the handlebar is quite compact and the wind visor is barely visible. There is a split-seat set up for a sporty ride and the tail section is quite slim.

One can also see the body graphics that are composed of grey colour in addition to the red and black sporty combination. The alloy wheels at the front and rear are quite chunky which is representative of racing bikes. There is also a slim tyre hugger at the rear oozing performance appearance. The headlamps are quite sharp with modern elements. All in all, this is quite an attractive silhouette that people would love to see in production.

What We Think
Since this is being called the NS400, it is quite natural that it would borrow the engine from the existing Dominar 400. It comes powered by a BS6-compliant 373.3-cc liquid-cooled fuel-injection single-cylinder engine that makes 40 PS and 35 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a wet multi-plate gearbox with Assist & Slipper clutch. Since the Dominar 400 has not achieved the kind of success as most other Bajaj models, it makes sense to bring a 400-cc version under the Pulsar moniker. Whether or not Bajaj thinks the same, remains to be seen.
