Reports claim that the launch of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 FI (Fuel Injection) could happen around Diwali 2019. As of now, it only comes with Carburettor.
To comply with the upcoming BS-6 norms, Bajaj Auto is going to equip the RS200 and NS200 with Fuel Injection (FI) System. MaxAbout claims that it will be launched around Diwali 2019.
The launch of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 FI could mean that it will be BS-6 compliant in the coming months. MaxAbout reports that first, it will come on the RS200, then on the naked version of it.
However, in the global market, Pulsar NS200 is already equipped with Fuel Injection. With this, we expect the naked bike to be available with some new colour options.

Inclusion of fuel injection will increase the power figures slightly. The global FI engine produces 24.13 BHP at 9750 RPM and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. The Carb variant, on the other hand, produces 23.17 BHP and 18.3 Nm of torque.
The performance is also expected to be mildly better. The fuel economy will also increase from the current estimated of 37 kmpl. It uses a 199.5cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4-valve engine.
Further reports suggest that the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 FI could get some feature additions as well. We can expect full LED headlamps and a fully digital instrument console onboard.

This will increase the prices of the NS200 by a small margin, of around Rs 3,000. Currently, it is priced at Rs 1.12 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Interestingly, its prime rival, Apache RTR 200 4V is also available with Carb ABS and not FI ABS.
Meanwhile, other speculations suggest that in near future, NS200, Avenger and RS200 could get the bigger 373cc engine from the Dominar. If that is the case, then these three motorcycles would be the most affordable in their segment.
