The Bajaj Pulsar ‘Naked Sports’ or NS series is much popular in India. With its muscular body and the edgy graphics, it gets the raw sporty appeal with its edgy graphics. After Dominar, this might be the best looking Pulsar. From the two NS bikes, we take the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Currently, it fights with the Duke 200 and the Apache RTR 200 4V in the 200cc segment. The latest model from Bajaj Auto Ltd has gone on sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.11 Lakhs in New Delhi. In comparison, the non-ABS model costs roughly Rs 99,411. All this makes the new ABS version almost Rs 11,700 costlier than the non-ABS version.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS gets the 199.5 cc, 4 valve, single cylinder BS4-compliant engine that powers the standard variant. Sadly, the motorcycle is yet to get fuel injection. The motor continues to churn out a maximum power of 23 BHP at 9500 RPM along with a peak torque of 18.3 Nm at 8,000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The bike boasts conventional front forks at the front and a gas-charged Nitrox monoshock suspension setup at the rear. The motorcycle rides on stylish 17-inch mag wheels that come shod with a 100-section front tire and a 130-section rear tire. Braking duties are courtesy of disc brakes, both at front and rear. While the front disc brake has a 280 mm rotor with a twin-calliper arrangement, the rear gets a 230 mm disc with a single-calliper setup. The ABS module for the NS 200 is the same unit that is also available on its full fairing sibling, the Pulsar RS200.
