Bajaj has launched the Pulsar N150 which takes inspiration from the N160 and sits below it but above the P150.
Bajaj Pulsar N150 has been launched in India. It draws inspiration from the N160 and sits above the P150 launched last year. It is a commuter motorcycle with hints of sportiness. Currently, the N160 has a 45% market share. That is what inspires the N150 as well. The N150 is available in three colours – Metallic Pearl White, Ebony Black and Racing Red. Bajaj Pulsar N150 Launched
The styling of the new Pulsar N150 draws heavy inspiration from the larger N160. Hence, it has a sporty appearance. The riding triangle is straight which offers hints of sportiness in terms of riding. Apart from that, the front fascia is quite aggressive making it look like a sports bike in this budget-friendly segment. In addition, there is a big tank shroud, a sculpted fuel tank, an engine cowl. rugged side body panels, an underbelly exhaust, a part-digital instrument cluster, a USB port, an LED projector headlamp, a single seat setup allowing the family to adjust people comfortably, and a near 50-50 weight distribution.

In terms of specifications, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 comes with a 149.68-cc four-stroke air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine generating a healthy 14.5 PS and 13.5 Nm of peak power and torque. There is a 5-speed manual transmission on offer. Performing the suspension duties is a telescopic unit at the front and a monoshock at the rear with 27% more wheel travel. Moreover, the front tyre is a 90-section while the rear tyre is a 120-section. This is wider than the P150. There is a single-channel ABS at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The disc at the front is 240 mm, whereas the drum at the rear measures 130 mm. This bike will offer a fuel economy in the range of 45-50 km/l. This model is around 7 kg lighter than the N160.

Price
At the moment, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is available in a single variant. It costs Rs 1,17,677, ex-showroom. In the future, there could even be a dual-disc brake variant on offer with a slight premium in the pricing. This puts it perfectly between the N160 and P150 in our market. The customers get an even wider choice to buy exactly what meets their needs. In essence, Bajaj Auto is planning to dominate this highly popular 150-cc segment with all that it has got.
