Bajaj has stated that it will launch its BS-6 Pulsar range starting early 2020, as the prices are set to increase by a small margin.
Working on the implementation of BS-6 norms, Bajaj Auto has confirmed that its updated Pulsar lineup will be launched in early 2020. FYI, most of the automakers are planning for an early 2020 launch, so as to exhaust their BS-4 stocks.
Reports say that Bajaj has already finished working on the BS-6 motorcycles, and is just waiting for the homologation and certification process. For the past few months, a lot of test mules of Bajaj with BS-6 engines have been spotted testing.
To make engines compliant, Bajaj is likely to use fuel-injection on the Pulsar range. As of now, there is Pulsar 125, 150, 150 Twin Disc, NS160, NS200, 180F RS200 and 220F among the entire range. Most of them are still running on a carburetted engine.

Addition of fuel injection technology will increase the prices by a small margin, of up to Rs 6000-8000. The Pulsar range starts from Rs 66,000 for the Pulsar 125, going up to Rs 1.4 Lakhs for the RS200.
Like others, Bajaj has also discontinued some of its bikes due to the upcoming BS-6 norms. The Pulsar 180 and Avenger 180 have been discontinued for some time now, to be replaced by Pulsar 180F and Avenger 160. With this, the existing stock of BS-4 models will soon be cleared and heavy discounts will be offered for that.
Not just motorcycles, two-wheeler brands like Yamaha, Hero and Honda are equipping their scooters with Fuel Injection to get them BS-6 complaint. Till now, Hero has launched Maestro Edge FI and Honda is going to launch the Activa 125 FI soon.
