Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Launch Date
Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Launch Date | January 2018 |
The Bajaj Pulsar RS400 launch is scheduled to take place around the beginning of next year. As aforementioned, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj has already confirmed that the Bajaj Pulsar RS 400 launch will take place in the ongoing fiscal. The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 and the new generation Pulsar 150 are slated to come before the RS400.
The RS400 (SS400) will be the most expensive bike from Bajaj. It will be even pricier than the VS 400. The SS400 will get its engine from the KTM RC390. It should come with similar performance levels but slightly higher fuel mileage. The RS400 will play the elder sibling to the RS200, The Bajaj Pulsar RS400 launch will be really important for Bajaj Auto Ltd.

Quite obviously, the Pulsar RS 400 will be significantly cheaper than the KTM RC390. However, it will be more expensive than the CS400. Our guess is that in terms of pricing, the 400SS will be positioned just a tad higher than the hot-selling KTM 390 Duke.

Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Design
The Pulsar RS400 looks almost exactly like the RS200. The only little differentiation comes from slightly different sticker-job near the headlamps. The RS400 is based on the SS400 concept we saw at the 2014 Auto Expo. Staying true to the concept, the RS400 will look really sporty. It will boast of a full front fairing that will house twin projector headlamps. Furthermore, the headlamps will be accompanied by LED DRLs. There is a large windscreen upfront which should offer sufficient wind protection. The tank looks neatly sculpted and the usage of decals adds some more excitement. In terms of design, the Pulsar RS400 is world-class! Moving on, it gets a split seat setup. The tailpiece looks sufficiently modern bit isn’t the prettiest of designs. The LED taillamps look bold enough.
Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Colours
The RS400 will go on sale in following paint options –
- Red with Black and White decals
- Black with White and Red decals
- Yellow with Black and White decals
- Blue with Black and White decals
- Silver with Black and White decals
Actual list of colours and specifications will be available only after the launch takes place.
Bajaj Puslar RS400 Competition
The Pulsar RS400 will be rivaled by the top-end Honda CBR250R on one end, and the KTM RC390 on the other. Also, while not exactly a rival, the RS400 could even eat into the sales of the Pulsar CS400. The RS400 could even indirectly rival the upcoming BMW G310R.
