Bajaj Chetak Premium Price
The leaked specification sheet indicates that the Bajaj Chetak Premium will be priced at approximately Rs 1.35 lakh. Meanwhile, the Tecpac version will have a price tag of around Rs 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom). This places the Premium model in a slightly higher bracket compared to the Urbane variant starting at Rs 1.15 lakh and the Tecpac version at Rs 1.23 lakh.
Feature-Packed Model: While the Tecpac version caters to riders with both Eco and Sport riding modes, the regular Premium model will offer a single Eco riding option. The entry-level version features a single-screen TFT, while the Tecpac variant boasts a 5-inch TFT color touchscreen. These features make the Chetak Premium an enticing option for electric scooter enthusiasts.
Advanced Battery Performance
Bajaj Chetak Premium will likely house a larger 3.2kWh battery. If true, safely expect an impressive range of up to 127 kilometers under IDC requirements. Although these specifics are await official confirmation, they suggest a notable improvement. For reference, the current version offers a 108-kilometer range with a 2.9kWh battery pack. The leaked details also indicate a top speed of 73 km/h for the upcoming electric scooter.

Enhanced Features: The Premium Tecpac variant takes a leap forward with Sequential Blinkers, Colour TFT, Full App Connectivity, Vacation Mode, and Remote immobilisation. The extra kit aims to enhance the riding experience. These features go beyond what the base Chetak Premium provides, including Single Screen TFT, Eco mode, and Limited App Connectivity.
Unchanged Hardware Package
The Bajaj Chetak Premium will likely maintain the existing hardware setup, featuring a single-disc brake system, alloy wheels, and monoshocks on both ends. Design-wise, it’s unlikely to see substantial changes, retaining the iconic round LED headlight, curved side panels, and retro style.
Competing in a Fierce Market: With intense competition in electric scooter market, Bajaj aims to make a strong statement with the Chetak Premium. The new model should help Bajaj increase the heat on rivals from Ola, Ather and TVS. The new variant’s additional features and aim to carve a significant niche in the EV landscape.
