Bajaj is all set to bring its Bajaj Boxer 150 aka Bharat Bike to Indian roads in August 2011. As per the media sources, the bike is undergoing testing and there has been some trials in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh with the Bajaj Boxer 150. The Boxer 150 is a sturdy bike built keeping in mind the needs of rural commuting. The bike has a very sturdy chassis, strong suspension and high torque to run with enough load on a rural terrain with high reliability and strength.
The Boxer 150 or Bharat bike is mainly targeted to rural or semi-urban needs where people need to commute with load, heavy luggage, on rough and uneven terrains. With this requirement in mind, the Boxer keeps it simple and does not offer any frills, rather a simple, powerful and sturdy product which will be price competitive as well keeping in mind the purchase power of the segment of buyers to which it is targeted.
