At the beginning of the drag race, both the bikes are almost head-to-head for a brief while. But as we move deeper into the race, the powerful Jawa runs away quite effortlessly. The Avenger can’t catch it thereafter. For the second attempt, the riders are swapped. However, this time around, the Avenger takes a lead at the beginning of the race. However, the Jawa soon catches the Avenger and overtakes it. For the rest of the race, the Jawa manages to stay ahead comfortably.

The Avenger comes with a 220 cc fuel injection engine that makes 19 PS and 17.5 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The price of the Avenger is Rs 1.32 lakh, ex-showroom. On the other hand, the Jawa 42 comes with a 293 cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled 27 PS and 27 Nm of peak power and torque.
