Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 ABS is launching soon, as says the teaser. A couple of weeks back, prices of the updated cruiser was also leaked online.
Bajaj is a weeks away from officially launching its ABS updated lineup. Ahead of the launch, a teaser of Avenger Cruise 220 ABS has been leaked, which says ‘Coming Soon’.
Bajaj Avenger 220 is avaiable in Street and Cruise disguised. While the Street comes with completely blacked out elements, the Cruise variant comes with elegant colours and chrome detailings.
We expect the Avenger Cruise 220, Street 220 and 180 ABS to launch in the first week of March. That’s when, Bajaj might launch ABS versions of Pulsar 150, NS160, Pulsar 180 and 220F.

Interestingly, a couple of weeks back, prices of the Avenger Cruise 220 ABS were leaked. As per the reports, it will be priced at Rs 1.02 Lakhs. The prices increase by Rs 6,700 over the non-ABS bike, which goes for Rs 95,300 (ex-showroom prices).
Similarly, prices of Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and 220F ABS variants have been revealed. All of the updated Bajaj bikes get a single-channel ABS with Rear Lift-off protection (RLP) at the back.
Other than the inclusion of ABS, the Avenger 220 Cruise and Street will not receive any further updates. The BS-6 updated lineup will be launched sometime later this year.

Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 and Street 220 use an air-cooled 220cc DTS-i engine, that is capable of producing 19 BHP and 17.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
For braking purposes, Avenger uses disc brake at the front and drum brakes at the rear. No rear disc brake is offered on option. The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back.
Avenger Cruise 220 is gets more features than both the other variants. It is equipped with a fully digital speedometer, a tall windshield, LED DRLs and oil-cooled engine. The digital cluster shows information such as speed, odometer, fuel bars and clock.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto is planning to launch thoroughly updated Avenger series by 2020. Reports say that the new cruisers might be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.
