Avantura Choppers India Launch Brings the Chopper Concept to Our Shores
The Indian road infrastructure is improving exponentially connecting more and more cities with smooth tarmac aiding quality and accessibility. Rise of choppers in India – The concept
The concept of choppers comes from America and the most distinctive factors of choppers are the length, bigger and wider tyres, massive engines, lower seating and quirky designs. Over time, we’ve seen custom choppers based on the Royal Enfield platforms that were highly modified to house the modifications. This has now evolved into manufacturers like Avantura Choppers India, manufacturing one-off choppers specifically designed to suit their customers.

Will be built to order and can be customized according to customer’s demand
The Avantura Rudra and the Avatura Pravega are the products being offered by the company and it is going to assemble them in India. Both share the same underpinnings but are strikingly different in terms of design. These will be assembled locally with parts being sourced from specific manufacturers overseas. The local research and development has made these choppers more “India-friendly” and is perfectly suited for the country’s conditions. both choppers can be built completely according to the customer’s preference and are subjected to ARAI certification individually prior to delivery.
Avantura Choppers India – Rudra Price and Specifications
One of the two offerings currently, the Rudra is priced at INR 23.49 lakh and is available to order now. The choppers feature a distinctive design that’s similar to an authentic chopper design language. It features a wheelbase of 2,180 mm and rides on massive front and rear wheels. The kerb weight of the Rudra is 344kg while the seat height is set at 574mm for easier manoeuvring and quick adaptability.
Avantura Choppers India – Pravega Price and Specifications
The Avantura Pravega stands taller than its sibling and sports a design identical to that of an American cruiser. Abundant use of chrome can be noticed on the chopper. The Pravega features a teardrop style fuel tank, raised handlebars and alloy wheels. The overall length of the chopper is 2,627mm while the wheelbase stretches to 2,006mm. The chopper sits on 21″ wheels in the front and features an 18″ wheel in the rear. The Avantura Pravega is priced at INR 21.40 lakh.
Avantura Choppers India – Shared Parts
Powering the choppers is a 2000cc air cooled, fuel injected engine developed by US-based S&S engines. Besides the engine, other parts have also been sourced from various manufacturers like the Beringer braking system, Primo suspension, Mustang seats, Kellerman Lights and Avon tyres.
