An interesting and impressive fun fact about the latest-gen Hyundai Venue from India constitutes a whopping 66% of the total Venue SUVs sold in over 40 countries. As per this shot from the official presentation of the Venue, every 2 out of 3 Venue SUVs sold in 40 countries is from India. This should not come as a surprise to the people in the know of the automobile industry as Hyundai is the largest exporter of vehicles in India.

Hyundai Venue Has Presence In 40 Countries
HMIL has been the second-largest carmaker in the country for a long time. That is why it decided to invest in developing world-class manufacturing facilities in India that could prove to be instrumental in its export business. India is located in a great geographical space with respect to the other countries compare to South Korea. Hence, it became easier to cater to markets like Africa, the Middle East, Europe and even Latin America. That is the reason why so many Hyundai products sold in so many countries are actually manufactured in India. Apart from India, the Hyundai Venue is only produced in South Korea and Taiwan. Meanwhile, India, North America, and Australia are the three biggest markets for this sub-compact SUV.

The new Hyundai Venue embodies the latest design philosophy of the South Korean carmaker that is prevalent in some of its iconic international predicts like the Tucson. The bold front grille on the Venue certainly reminds one of that huge Parametric Grille seen on the international-spec Tucson. In fact, the upcoming Creta facelift is most likely to feature a similar grille and front fascia. There will, obviously, be India-oriented tweaks to the popular compact SUV but the design philosophy will permeate through.

This includes a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine that makes 83 PS and 113 Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel mill that churns out 100 PS and 240 Nm, and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that develops 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of choosing from a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT transmissions. The prices of the 2022 Hyundai Venue range from Rs 7.53 lakh to Rs 12.57 lakh, ex-showroom.
