Audi India has announced the launch of its sporty sedan Audi S4 in India on 4th June 2012. The S4 is powered by a 3 Litre TFSI V6 Petrol engine with a peak power of 333 BHP and torque of 440 Nm. The S4 car reaches from 0 to 100 KMPH in just 5 second and is a popular sports sedan by Audi and has been priced at Rs. 45.31 Lakhs Ex-showroom Maharashtra. Staring today, it will be available at all the Audi dealerships in India. The S4 comes with a 7 speed S-Tronic automatic transmission system with a 4 wheel drive system.
Talking of styling and features, the S4 comes with a hexagonal single-frame grille, wedge shape xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, new bumper design compared to the previous generation models. This will be the entry level Sport sedan from Audi India in its Indian portfolio and can reach a electronically limited top speed of 250 KMPH. ARAI tested the fuel mileage to be close to 10.34 KMPL for the Audi S4 in India.
It comes with low riding sports suspensions and high performance braking system with 18 inch wheels to provide high comfort and good road grip. The S4 features a multi-function sports steering wheel, interiors with matt brushed aluminum, black colored sporty interiors, driver information system with colour display.

Audi India is also working in its dealership network expansion along with adding new cars to its portfolio. It will increase its dealerships from existing 19 to 25 by the end or 2012.
