Audi India, a well known name in the luxury car market of India sold 482 cars in the month of October 2011 as per the official sales report released in Mumbai. This sales number is 35% higher than the sales of October 2010 when Audi India sold 357 cars. In past one year, Audi has expanded its car portfolio in India by introducing new models like the Audi A6 etc. Apart from portfolio expansion, Audi has also ramped up its dealership and service network in the country and will continue to do the same in coming years. If we consider the sales data of January 2011 to October 2011 (YTD), Audi has sold over 4692 cars which is an increase of about 85% over the previous 2325 car sales in the same period in year 2010.
The Audi model range in India includes Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8L, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi RS5 Coupe, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder available across the country: in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mumbai West, Pune and Surat. Further developments include Coimbatore, Delhi West, Indore, Lucknow and Mumbai South.
