Audi is all set to unwrap the new luxurious offering from the sedan segment, the Audi A7 Sportback. The A7 is a mixture of the a sedan and a coupe and is quite distinguishable from the current offerings which are Audi A8, Audi A6 etc.
Importantly the car will be positioned very close to the A8 and will bear the next generation evolutionary design that will be seen in all the upcoming cars from the brand. The car is comparable to the A8 and is marginally smaller than the latter.

Engine
Believing in the speculations, the car is likely to come equipped with a 3.0 Litre V6 diesel engine capable of producing a maximum power of 245 BHP and a maximum torque of 449 Nm. The same will be coupled to a 7 speed S-tronic transmission and together they will add a lot to the performance of the car. With this diesel heart the car is supposed to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds and will have a top speed of 250 km/h.
A petrol version is all expected which would sport a 2.8 Litre V6 heart producing a maximum power of 201 BHP and peak torque of 286 Nm. The same would help the car attain a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5.6 seconds along with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Exterior
As mentioned above, the design cues are the newest ones and will be seen in all the upcoming models. A long hood, dynamic contours and short overhangs are the characteristics of this new design. The roofline is pretty low and resembles that of a couple very much which imparts the actual Sportback characteristics to this car.
It also features all-weather detailed LED headlights with optional daytime running lamps and bi-xenon headlamps. Dimension wise the car is 4.9 meter in length, 1.9 meter in width and 1.4 meter in height making its overall size comparable to that of Mercedes E Class.
Interior
The interiors are classy enough with the lines extending in a curve from the drivers side to the passenger side door sill after passing through the instrument panel. The seats are quite comfortable and can be adjusted in different ways to suit the occupant’s comfort level. Some of the optional features include Power adjustment, memory function, seat heating and sports seats.
