Audi is finally going to launch the new-gen A6 sedan in India which comes with new designing and brand new interiors with much more premium-ness and features.
The current generation of Audi A6 that was available in India has been doing rounds on Indian roads for quite some time. Audi has been mildly updating the car over the time with special edition models and a few features updates while BMW and Mercedes have quite significantly upped their game with new models and better sales. However, now Audi is finally bringing the new 2019 Audi A6 here in India.
Audi India has quite a slew of launches lined up ahead of them – 4 to be precise and the A6 is going to be the first of them. In terms of looks, the design is evolutionary in the sense you can still easily identify it as the A6 and not confuse with other sedans in the family but it looks much smarter and contemporary now. The face is ofcourse dominated by the large trapezoidal grille garnished in chrome and the detailing in the LED headlamps put it more in line with the rest of the family design.
The Audi A6 boasts of a clean design accentuated by sharp lines which like always keeps the design understated. However, the aggressive front bumper really give it some character. It is at the rear which sees the most the most notable change with new LED tail lamps and a chrome bar joining the two tail lamps.
On the inside, the Audi A6 adopts the latest interior design language from Audi. Gone are the floating infotainment screens and stack of buttons on the center console. There are now two digital screens integrated into the dashboard for all your entertainment and vehicle controls. The dashboard is garnished with piano black trims and brushed aluminum which give it a very premium feel. And yes of course, Audi’s virtual cockpit is also present.
