Ather now brings in the more advanced, powerful and feature-rich 450X electric scooter. The scooter is priced at Rs 99,000 (ex-showroom).
After finding immense success with the 450 electric scooter, Ather now launches the 450X. It looks just like the Ather 450, but gets more features, bigger battery capacity and is also the fastest scooter in India. The 450X comes in two variants – Plus and Pro.
It gets a 2.9 kWh advanced lithium-ion battery pack which now produces 6 kW and 26 Nm of peak torque. In comparison to the 450, the Ather 450X produces 15% more power and 30% more torque. It goes from 0-40 km/hr in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 80 kmph.
The Plus variant gets the same power figures and battery capacity of the Ather 450, producing 5.4 kW and 20.5 Nm of peak torque. Further, the range of the scooter is now 85 kms, 10 kms more than the Eco Mode of Ather 450. There’s also a new Warp riding mode.

The Eco Mode on the Pro variant offers 85 kms of range and that on Plus, offers 75 kms max. With the fast charger, the Plus variant can be fully charged in 70 minutes. The Pro variant will take 2 hours for the same.
Both the variants are priced at Rs 99,000, however, both have different subscription packages. In Delhi, due to the new subsidies, you can take this scooter for Rs 85,000. You can buy the 450X Plus at Rs 1,699 and the Pro at Rs 1,999 after paying these amounts. If you want to buy the scooter upfront, you can buy the Plus for Rs 1.49 Lakhs and the Pro for Rs 1.59 Lakhs (both prices ex-showroom).
New features onboard include a refreshed Android touchscreen cluster with integrated Bluetooth, Onboard Google Maps navigation, App Ride Stats, App Remote Monitoring, Integrated E-Sim, Music Play and Call options. Further, it gets Auto-turn off indicators, OTA upgrades and Regenerative Braking.
The Ather 450X is available in three colour options now – Green, Matte Black and its original White. Talking about the warranty, Ather is offering a lifetime warranty on the battery pack.
