It is true that one gets to witness some incredible visuals on our roads on a daily basis but we can’t say that spotting a battle tank on a road is usual.
There was recently an Army battle tank spotted abandoned on the KMP Expressway in the vicinity of the national capital. When was the last time you saw a battle tank of the Indian Army just left parked on the side of an expressway? They say there is nothing that wouldn’t be found on Indian roads and this latest spotting just drives that point home. Although our roads are often full of stray animals, unusual carts or machinery for transportation and some other bits, witnessing a full-fledged tank is still scarce.

In this case, the chain holding one of the tanks broke free while traveling near the Asauda toll plaza near KMP Expressway just outside Delhi. That caused the tank to fall to the ground.
