If you have been contemplating on Aprilia not bringing in a full faired 150cc motorcycle, think again. The Italian motorcycle maker is expected to introduce the fully faired RS150 along with the Tuono 150. Like the Tuono 150, the Aprilia RS150 India debut took place at the Auto Expo 2018. The 150cc Aprilia motorcycle is powered by a 150cc single cylinder engine that will generate 18 hp of power at 10,000 rpm and 14Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Considering the earlier models that have been introduced in India like the Aprilia SR150, the new motorcycles should also have a competitive price tag.

The fully faired RS150 is expected to be introduced in India this year itself with a price tag around Rs 1.50 lakh ex-showroom. The price, however, is indicative of the fact that Aprilia has been introducing its products with a competitive price till now.

The new 150cc motorcycle from Aprilia comes with a motor that generates a maximum power of 18hp at 10,000 rpm and 14Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The feature list on the Aprilia RS150 is extensive which includes a dual headlamp setup, ABS, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and a lot more as standard fitments. Like the Tuono 150, the RS 150 also has a quickshifter as an optional extra. However, the ABS which would be available on the RS150 is a single channel one with only the front brake is assisted with ABS.
