Piaggio has updated all the Aprilia and Piaggio scooters with ABS and CBS respectively. The company has released the updated price list.
As the safety regulations have kicked in, majority two-wheeler brands have updated their models. Now, the manufacturers are releasing the updated price lists of their models, which come with CBS or ABS.
Piaggio has revealed the updated price list of Aprilia and Vespa scooters. They are the first set of scooters to be equipped with ABS in India. Their range include 125cc and 150cc scooters.
For two-wheelers under 125cc, they should be equipped with Combined-Braking System (CBS). Two-wheelers above 125cc should compulsorily get Anti-lock braking system (ABS).

The prices of CBS-equipped Vespa scooters have been hiked by Rs 1,600. The ABS prices have increased by Rs 7,000.
Whereas, Aprilia CBS models see a price hike of nearly Rs 2,800 and the ABS models are costlier by Rs 8,000. Both the models receive a single-channel ABS on the front disc brake.
In other news, Piaggio is planning to launch new products under the Aprilia brand, by the next 2 years. The list includes a family-focused scooter and SR125. It will also bring the Tuono 150 and RS150 entry-level motorcycles.

As of now, the non-updated scooters are still available with selective dealerships. In near future, they might sell it off at big discounts.
