The Mahindra XEV 9e is available in two variants – 79 kWh and 59 kWh. These promise a range of 656 km and 542 km, respectively, on a single charge. Furthermore, the power and torque range from 286 hp and 380 Nm with the larger battery to 231 hp and 380 Nm with the smaller unit, respectively. Using a 175 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be juiced up from 20% to 80% in a matter of 20 minutes. With maximum power and torque, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in a mere 6.8 seconds. Finally, you will need to shell Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh, ex-showroom to get your hands on one.
