Anand Mahindra Replied to a Woman Humorously
Showcasing his witty side, Anand said, ““Got this in response to my tweet with pics of our new EVs. Forget about quantitative consumer reaction surveys @BosePratap From now on, if you get a meme like this in reaction to new products, it means you’ve passed the test!” This came when the woman reacted to the 5 EVs with a GIF that had a baby in it who said, “wow”. It is a popular GIF used on social media. It just indicated how impressed the woman was with the EVs that Mahindra unveiled in August this year.

The plan is to start developing these all-electric SUVs from the ground up soon. The timeline for these SUVs has been mentioned to be from 2024 onwards. Note that these will be based on the dedicated electric platform and they won’t be just simple conversions of existing models. For instance, the Mahindra XUV400, which is slated for launch in January 2023, will be the electrified version of the already existing XUV300. But the EVs showcased by Mahindra are all new (except one which will be the electric version of the XUV700).
