Ambani family prefers travelling in expensive luxury cars. Now, they have been spotted in two Mercedes S680 Guard sedans which cost over Rs 20 crore.
We have regularly covered the car collection of the Ambani family. Still, the family’s taste in cars continues to fascinate me. They always prefer to ride in stylish and luxury vehicles. A new YouTube that we have come across captured the family with their Mercedes S680 Guard sedans. Previously, the family had one current-generation S680 Guard sedan. Now, they seem to have bought another unit. Let’s take a closer look.

As you can see in the above video by CS12 Vlogs, the Mercedes S680 Guard sedan is the current vehicle of choice for the Ambani family. It seems like Mukesh Ambani visited a temple with Nita Ambani and their son, Anant Ambani. While the private security restricted access to the general public, the video clearly captures their Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard. You can also see a Bentley luxury sedan on the side. When the convoy left, Anant Ambani was seated in the front of the S680 Guard, while his parents were in the rear seat. The second S-Class joined the convoy later as it was parked along the road.

Mercedes S680 Guard Sedans of Ambani Family
The first Mercedes S680 Guard features a golden finish. On the other hand, the second unit seems to have a matte silver finish. The Mercedes S680 Guard is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine that offers 612 Ps of maximum power and 830 Nm of peak torque. It is the first Mercedes car to get the AWD feature. The luxury car retains all the premium luxury features of the regular S Class. The price of a new Mercedes S680 Guard exceeds Rs 10 crore (based on customization).

Safety Features Of Mercedes S680 Guard
Both cars look like regular sedans from the outside. However, they come with armour protection and other safety features. This includes a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection and 3.5-4 inches-thick bullet- and blast-proof multi-layer glass, an onboard intercom for communication with the driver, and a fire extinguisher. Protective materials are integrated into the standard body shell. Even the doors weigh around 250 kg each. The reinforced tires can run flat at speeds of up to 80 kmph. For emergencies, a compressed fresh air tank is behind the rear seat. Overall, the S680 Guard weighs nearly 2 tonnes more than a regular sedan.

Author’s Note
Mukesh Ambani often travels in a convoy of luxurious vehicles. The same is true for the other family members. Along with expensive brands, you can always spot them in bulletproof vehicles. This is quite fitting for the wealthiest Indian family. The Amabani family garage quite likely houses the most expensive private car collection in India which includes older generation S-Class Guard sedans as well. It is rumoured that the famous Antilia can park around 168 cars. The Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard is a solid addition thanks to the protection it offers without compromising on luxury. While the Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard is not a huge style statement, I appreciate the Ambani family opting for a sedan and not a huge SUV.
