The Aston Martin DBX will see its global debut on November 20 in Beijing, China and before its official launch, Aston has teased us with interiors images of the DBX.
The Aston Martin DBX has been building a lot of anticipation around itself. Of course it should. Its the first ever Aston Martin SUV. Now, Aston Martin has released a new image which shows us the upcoming DBX SUV’s interiors. They have also announced that the DBX make its official global debut in Beijing, China, on November 20.
As can be seen from the image, the interiors of the DBX lot typically Aston Martin in their basic design language. Almost the entire cabin comes draped in sumptuous leather, seeking to embody the firm’s characteristic blend of comfort and opulence. Other notable details include perforated leather seats, an expansive panoramic glass roof, and wood-finished interior door handles.
From some previously seen spy shots, it was guessed that the Aston Martin DBX would be using Mercedes-sourced switchgear and technology. That can now be confirmed from this image by the buttons and the infotainment system controller on the center console. The upper portion of the dashboard looks typical Aston Martin though. However, there are certain key changes.
There’s no floating infotainment screen. Instead, it has been integrated in the dashboard itself. The classic band of five buttons with the ignition key in between now sit on the top of the dashboard. The AC vents below the screen are much slimmer below which are some standard Aston Martin switchgear.
The DBX being an SUV will also be quite customizable with its form. Aston Martin is offering a brand new range of accessories with the DBX in the form of optional packages to suit the owner’s hobbies and pastimes. There’s a snow pack for example, which gives you a boot warmer, ski bag, roof-mounted ski rack and a set of snow chains. Then there’s a pet pack which gets you bumper protector, a portable washer and a cabin divider, while the more conventional Touring Pack comprises a tailored luggage set with first aid kit and under-seat locker.
