With the launch of the V-Class Elite, Mercedes is also expected to launch a longer wheelbase version to the line
Mercedes Benz is all set to launch an improved version of the current V-Cass that will go by the name V-Class Elite. This trim will now sit above the ongoing model and carries some refreshed design changes on the exteriors and interiors.
Talking about the launch of the V-Class Elite then Mercedes Benz has fixed the date for 7th November 2019. The German manufacturer is also expected to launch the longer wheelbase version (5370 mm) alongside the V-Class Elite.
Talking about the newer V-Class Elite then it is based on the refreshed version of the V-Class which has been revealed in the international markets. The changes on the premium MPV include revised headlamp cluster along with restyled bumper design at the front and rear. The grille up front is also changed to give the Elite a refreshing look.

The interiors on the V-Class Elite is expected to receive a new dashboard design along with new control surfaces and the turbine-style air vents. Also, we can also expect a larger touchscreen infotainment unit which will get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features.
In the international markets, this version gets varied seating configurations ranging from four seats to seven seats. One might also get an updated leather upholstery options and this version will get premium quality materials and will be fully loaded.

Internationally, there is an all-new diesel engine present but it is not sure if it will come to the Indian markets or not. If not, then it will continue with the 2.2-litre four cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which makes 160 bhp on tap and 380 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
We expect that the Mercedes V-Class Elite is expected to be priced at Rs 90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). As of now, there is no direct competition to the V-Class or the V-Class Elite, but with the launch of Toyota Vellfire soon, we can see if the Vellfire turns heads or not.
