Benelli has plans to introduce more motorcycles that will be based on Imperiale 400, but with either bigger or smaller capacity engines.
Fresh reports from ET Auto suggest that Benelli is planning more iterations based on the Imperiale 400. The retro-styled cruiser was recently launched in India at a price of Rs 1.69 Lakh, rivaling the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa.
Vikash Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India has confirmed that seeing the recent success of Imperiale 400, the company plans to develop more motorcycles that will get different engine capacities. The engine capacities for these bikes might be higher or lower than Imperiale.
As of now, there is no word on what shapes will the new models take. However, we can see more powerful retro-styled cruisers incoming. Benelli has just confirmed that this development is just in the planning process and they are doing their market research.
