Ultraviolette Automotive is launching its first electric motorcycle in India on November 13. It will be aimed towards performance equivalent to a 250cc bike.
TVS-backed electric mobility startup, Ultraviolette Automotive is introducing India’s second electric motorcycle next month. However, it will be amongst the very few performance-based electric two-wheelers.
The Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle will be able to produce 25 kW (33 BHP) and 90 Nm of peak torque. The company claims that the power is better than 200cc motorcycles and it can reach up to 140 km/hr (claimed).
The company is based out of Bangalore and the F&& is actually inspired by Aviation engineering. The F77 is a high-end technology-oriented, high performance electric motorcycle and is likely to cost around Rs 2 Lakhs on-road.

For suspension, it will sport USD Forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the back. Braking will be handled by disc brakes at both the ends, paired to dual-ABS as standard. There will be three riding modes onboard including – Eco, Normal and Sport.
The Ultraviolette F77 Electric Motorcycle will be enabled with ride telematics, remote diagnostics, over-the-air (OTA) upgrades, regenerative braking, multiple ride modes, ride analytics, and bike tracking as well. So, we can expect a fully digital instrument console with integrated sim card.
Other highlights of the split LED tail lamps, uniquely styled LED headlamps, alloy wheels, clip-on handlebars, slightly raised pillion seat and much more. It was recently spied testing on the streets of Bangalore, completely undisguised.
