The top trims of the Xcent Nios will also get leather seats, wireless charging and more features.
After the launch of Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai will bring its sedan sibling, the Xcent Nios in the market next year. Several spy shots of the sedan are surfacing the internet and the new one is of the interiors of the 2020 Hyundai Xcent Nios AMT.
At first, we see a larger touchscreen infotainment system which is a part of accessory in the interiors column of the 2020 Hyundai Xcent Nios AMT. The top spec trim spied here also gets leather seats.
The Hyundai Xcent still runs on the prelift model and the Nios spec variant is expected to be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. And the launch can be expected before the new emission norms kick in.

The Nios badging on the sedan will make it more premium and better looking than the ongoing model. The exteriors also see a new headlight design and are expected to carry the boomerang DRLs that come with the hatchback version.
Just like with the introduction of Grand i10 Nios, the manufacturers are still continuing with Grand i10 but with a petrol engine only. The latter sees fewer trims now and the same pattern can be applied when the Xcent Nios comes into the market. The regular Xcent might switch for the taxi aggregators only.
Now talking more about the upcoming sedan, it will borrow some features from the Grand i10 Nios. Wireless Charging, Projector Headlamps, Larger Toucschreen unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will make its way. A new automatic climate control unit, new steering wheel and a large 5.3-inch multi-information display with a digital speedometer will be seen in the Xcent Nios.

It will get the same 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engine as one present in the Grand i10 Nios. Knowing that the car will launch in 2020 then we expected it to come with BS6 compliant engines. The petrol engine which makes 83 bhp with 114 Nm of torque is already BS6.
The oil burner which comes in the Grand i10 Nios is BS4 compliant which makes 71 bhp and a peak torque of 190 Nm. We expect the Xcent Nios to come with a ready BS6 diesel engine too along with the petrol motor. Transmission option onboard includes a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT.
The 2020 Hyundai Xcent Nios will target the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze and Volkswagen Ameo. It is expected to sit at a price tag of between Rs 5.9 lakh for the base trim to Rs 8.89 lakh for the top model. All price stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
