Suzuki has unveiled the new Gixxer SF 250 Moto GP Race Bike, which will only be for the One Make Championship, and not for sale.
At the Kari Motor Speedway, along the lines of Suzuki Gixxer Cup, Suzuki has unveiled the race edition of the Gixxer SF 250 Moto GP. This race-spec motorcycle will be to select participants for the Gixxer Cup.
As of now, the Gixxer SF 155 Race Edition is used for the Gixxer cup. However, this one will replace the 155cc variant at the final leg of the One Make Championship, at the Buddh International Circuit Race Track (BIC).
First of all, the engine and the gearbox of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Moto Race Bike remains the same. There are no changes made to them. However, this version has shed over 20 kilograms in total, which definitely increases the acceleration power.

Talking about the changes, the stock exhaust has been replaced with a performance unit, helping in 5 kg weight loss. Other things like the absence of headlamps, indicators, rear fender, mirrors and the saree guard have helped in 15 kgs of loss.
The clip-on handlebars have been lowered further, for the riding stance. The turning radius of the motorcycle has been set to 30 degrees on both sides. Further, the pre-load has been increased on the front as well as the rear suspension along with farther placed footpegs.
In terms of styling, it gets the Moto GP type styling with the racing Blue colour, big ‘Suzuki’ and ‘ECSTAR’ decals on the side fenders. The alloy wheels and the overall styling is the same from the stock Gixxer SF 250.
